Not Covered by OHIP
Ontario Health Insurance Policy (OHIP) does not cover certain services that patients might request. OHIP permits physicians to charge for so called “non-insured or uninsured”services that are not deemed medically necessary.You can read more about uninsured services policy on the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) OHIP websites.
Yonge Crosby Medical Clinic offers variety of these uninsured by OHIP services. As the OHIP policy states, the fact that we offer these services for a fee doesn’t effect patient-physician relationship or establishes barriers to access quality health care.
We only accept Cash for uninsured services currently. A TD Bank branch is conveniently located right across the clinic.
